Sorry we took so long to announce ourselves. We've been flip-flopping a lot on pre-processing vs. live streaming in our designs. We also had to get clearance from our dept.
We'll have at least 1 entry, 2 or 3 if that's permitted.
Our site just went live a few days ago. You can check it out here:

Cool. I just checked the site and downloaded Mr. Hands. However, it would not start for me. I see there's an XNA dll in the folder, does it require an XBOX 360 controller to even run? _________________ http://www.compartmental.net |

| it doesn't require the controller but it does require XNA. We've been very busy trying to find a way to get around this, but it doesn't look like there will be while XNA is still in beta. |

Gotcha, I've got XNA on my box at home, what do I need to do to make it go? _________________ http://www.compartmental.net |

If you have XNA up and running, just unzip the game files and run the exe. Should be that simple :crosses fingers: |

So I'm guessing for those of us who want to try this out the directions outlined here...
http://etc.cmu.edu/projects/jukebox/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5
would work Cinicolo? _________________ 'C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, it blows away your whole leg.' -Bjarne Stroustrup |

| correct. Let me know if you have any trouble. Our peers who have tried haven't reported any problems with those directions...yet. Something is bound to pop up. |

Ok, I'm finding this instruction confusing because XNA isn't something that you just have up and running. It's a set of libraries for Visual C#, right? Just for kicks, I opened XNA Game Studio blah blah blah and then tried running the exe but got the same error. Do you mean that I'm supposed to run the exe from *within* Visual C#? _________________ http://www.compartmental.net |

Ok, when you said you had XNA running, I assumed you had everything else running with it. Sorry for the confusion.
Here's the step by step:
1. install latest directX.
2. install Visual C# express.
3. install XNA game studio express.
once that's all done (about a gb of junk! )
4. run the .exe. |

It occurs to me that it's probably not working because my graphics card can't handle shaders. _________________ http://www.compartmental.net |

gentlemen, i have just played your 2 games for the first time tonight.
incredible work.
rainbow surfer is just crazy.
like somekind of irish excitebike high on acid.
and mister hand, while a bit hard to grasp at first is so addictive.
very original gameplay, great execution, charming graphics. the works.
only critisism is that the musical impact on the visuals could have been more obvious.
i want it on xbox live arcade NOW!
seriously..id pay 5 bucks for that.
way to go. _________________ STIMULATION,
